Reliance Steel profit rises

Metals processor and distributor Reliance Steel & Aluminum Co. said its fourth-quarter profit rose, helped by an improved pricing environment.
Net income was $79.9 million, or $1.06 a share, compared with $74.6 million, or 98 cents, in the same quarter of 2006, the Los Angeles firm said. Revenue rose 9% to $1.71 billion.
