Shirley Jones, best known to baby boomers as Mrs. Partridge, is slated to appear after tonight’s screening of 1955’s “Oklahoma!” at the Egyptian Theatre. The musical marked the film debut of Jones (pictured with Gordon MacRae) and premiered at the movie palace, now celebrating its 85th anniversary. . . . The Egyptian is also embracing its inner Italian with the Rediscovered Italian Classics fest, starting Friday with Luchino Visconti’s 1963 epic “The Leopard,” starring Burt Lancaster as a nobleman amid 19th century uprisings. On Saturday there’s a new 35-millimeter print of Bernardo Bertolucci’s “Luna,” which didn’t exactly inspire critics in 1979. The film revolves around an opera diva (Jill Clayburgh) and her heroin-addicted son (Matthew Barry). Fred Gwynne (yes, Herman Munster!) and Roberto Benigni also star. The fest ends Tuesday with two dramas: Michelangelo Antonioni’s “Identification of a Woman” from 1982 and Valerio Zurlini’s “Black Jesus” from 1968. (egyptiantheatre.com).
