Gov. can help end strike -- if he acts

Regarding Marc Lifsher’s story (“Gov.’s just a spectator in Hollywood drama,” Dec. 27) about our governor not jumping into the Writers Guild of America strike negotiations: Does the governator want to be the chief executive of our state only to get involved in safe choices?
Here is a man that should truly understand both sides and be able to twist arms to make some progress. In the meantime, thousands of people in our industry and our suppliers are suffering. I know several people who will be out of business completely if the strike is not settled soon.
