Share

Time, TV: 1:30 p.m., Channel 2.

Story line: This is a rematch of the Chargers’ 23-17 overtime victory Dec. 9 at Tennessee -- the Titans’ only loss in their last five games. There was no love lost between the teams, with four players getting fined a total of $32,500 by the NFL for various illegal hits. The Chargers are rolling, having won six consecutive games. LaDainian Tomlinson led the NFL in rushing with 1,474 yards. The Titans were fifth in the NFL against the run, giving up only 92.4 yards a game, but Tomlinson had 146 yards rushing against the Titans -- one of only two backs with more than 100 yards against Tennessee this season. Titans quarterback Vince Young, who has nine touchdown passes and 17 interceptions, is nursing a leg injury and will be a game-time decision.

Injury report: TITANS -- Out: G Benji Olson (back), WR Roydell Williams (ankle); Doubtful: C Kevin Mawae (calf); Questionable: RB LenDale White (knee), QB Vince Young (quadriceps); Probable: RB Chris Brown (back), DT Albert Haynesworth (hamstring). CHARGERS -- Doubtful: RB Lorenzo Neal (fibula); Questionable: LB Marques Harris (hand); Probable: K Nate Kaeding (left fibula).

Peter Yoon’s pick: San Diego. The nasty weather forecast might neutralize the Titans’ best offensive weapon: kicker Rob Bironas, the NFL leader in field goals, with 35.
