Seminars on property taxes
County officials will be conducting free 90-minute seminars for property owners seeking to reduce their taxes as a result of declining property values.
Seminars will include information on how to appeal a property’s assessed value.
All classes begin at 10 a.m. on the following dates and in the following locations: Jan. 23, Glendale Public Library, 222 E. Harvard St.; Jan. 30, Lancaster Public Library, 601 W. Lancaster Blvd.; Feb. 25, Culver City Julian Dixon Library, 4975 Overland Ave.; Feb. 28, Jack Crippen Senior Center, 3120 N. Tyler Ave. in El Monte; March 24, Cerritos Park East Community Center, 13234 E. 166th St.; March 26, Bernardi Multipurpose Senior Center, 6514 Sylmar Ave. in Van Nuys.
Free or validated parking will be available at all locations.
