Narrower page widths coming to the paper

Share

The Los Angeles Times has begun a yearlong process to slightly narrow the width of the paper. The total reduction is half an inch, taking each page from the current 11.5 inches to 11. At times over the next year, some sections will be narrower than others as the transition takes place.

The change will bring The Times in line with industry standards, conserve paper and partially offset rising newsprint prices. The page depth will remain unchanged.
