“The Truth Cookie”

Fiona Dunbar

This is an enchanting story with lots of magical items. It is about a girl named Lulu who lives with her father. He is about to marry Varaminta LeBone, who is very mean and a mother of a dreadful little boy, Torquil. Lulu thinks that her father’s fiancee has a trick up her sleeve. Then she finds a magical book. There is a special recipe in it that would make LeBone tell why she is going to marry her father.

I thought this story was going to be simple and boring. Then a mysterious pharaoh shows up. If you like enchanting stories, this is the book for you. And by the way, happy reading!
