Re “The perils of picking presidents,” Opinion, Jan. 20

A great many of us vote by mail now. If The Times is planning to endorse candidates for president in the major parties sometime in the next few weeks, its endorsements will have little relevance.

Of course Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger won’t endorse a presidential candidate. He’d have to admit that he’s a Democrat.
