Sect leader Jeffs returns to jail

Polygamist sect leader Warren Jeffs was back in jail amid questions about what prompted his hospitalization in Las Vegas for treatment of a “weakened state of health,” a Mohave County sheriff’s official said. Jeffs, the 52-year-old leader of the Fundamentalist Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, was found in his Kingman cell Tuesday conscious but convulsive, shaking and running a fever.
