Nvidia to sell chips for mobiles

Nvidia Corp. is introducing a product to run wireless devices that browse the Internet. The new Tegra chips are powerful enough to play high-definition video and render 3-D images, according to the company’s website.

Santa Clara, Calif.-based Nvidia will take on Intel Corp., the world’s biggest chip maker, in the market for gadgets that surf websites and download video, such as Apple Inc.’s iPhone.
