From ‘She & Him’ to a thriller with Mark & M.

Everybody should talk about: Zooey Deschanel. Is there anything this hopelessly cool girl can’t do? Her debut album, “She & Him,” is already being praised in indie huddles, and her part in the coming-of-age drama “The Go-Getter,” released Friday, is further proof that no one does endearingly kooky better. Next, she proves she can hang with the blockbuster boys, starring opposite Mark Walhberg in M. Night Shyamalan’s first R-rated thriller, “The Happening.” (Friday)

Fans of Zooey could also talk about: Martha Wainwright’s “I Know You’re Married But I’ve Got Feelings Too.” The Canadian singer-songwriter is a lot less famous than big brother Rufus, and her sophomore album, a stream of consciousness on unrequited love, isn’t going to help matters. Her Tori-esque vocals and folk rhythms are soothing, but it all cuts deep when she talks about her heart that’s “made for bleeding all over you.” (Tuesday)

Loyal viewers will talk about: “Men in Trees.” Though the series won’t be returning for another season, there is some consolation for Jack and Marin devotees. Sensing the end was near, producers shot an alternate ending that wraps things up for Marin and the Elmo, Ala., gang. (Wednesday)

...and if they’re in the mood for a classic prime-time comedy, they can talk about: “Soap: The Complete Series.” “The Bill Engvall Show” and “Last Comic Standing” aren’t enough to sustain you over the summer? No problem. Grab this 1977-80 ABC series, finally out on DVD, if you ever wanted to see what “Days of Our Lives” would look like as a half-hour sitcom. (Tuesday)

Coachella attendees are already talking about: My Morning Jacket’s “Evil Urges.” Trying to categorize the group’s fifth studio album, its first in three years, is tough going. To hear the critics tell it, it’s “a genre-hopping adventure” ranging from “funk-metal grooves” to “Nashville crooning.” Suffice it to say, the preeminent jam band is baaack. (Tuesday)
