One recognizable name is point guard Lindsay Whalen, who leads the team in scoring average (15.3), assists (6.2) and rebounds (6.0). Whalen also creates for forwards Asjha Jones and Tamika Whitmore, each averaging 15.1 points. In her first WNBA start, Sparks guard Kiesha Brown scored 13 points in Wednesday’s 80-73 victory over Detroit.
