Union scapegoat

Re “Get your act together,” editorial, June 14

As a member of the Screen Actors Guild for over 25 years -- the middle-class type of member who prays to break $30,000 each year so my family can have insurance -- I was dismayed to see the writers demonized for the hardship caused by their strike, and never the producers with their conglomerate billions and their secret accounting.

Now The Times sounds just like all those who blamed the poor folks with the picket signs instead of looking past the studio gates at who’s making out like bandits. Remind me not to be surprised when y’all endorse John McCain.
