Lamentable life on the streets
Re “Raising a family on Pasadena’s trash,” Column One, March 12
It is laudable that Juana Rivas is industrious and working to make a better life for her family. It is lamentable that she is forced to go through trash cans for a living. The fact remains, though, that she is not a citizen of the United States. Until she becomes a citizen of our country, her problem belongs to Mexico.
