Take a Dip

Thank you to Charles Perry for sharing the history of Philippe's, one of the city's best-loved institutions ("The Big Dipper," April 6). I've only been eating there for 16 years, but based on that comparatively short relationship, Philippe's deserves another 100 years in business.

How could you write such a wonderful article about Philippe's and not say more about their incredible mustard? It's been fun watching people apply more of that dynamite than they were prepared to handle.
