A U.S. diplomat left North Korea with boxes of documents detailing activities at a reactor that is at the heart of the country’s nuclear program.
Washington plans to scrutinize logs from the Yongbyon reactor to see if North Korea is telling the truth about its program, which it has agreed to end for economic and political rewards.
The U.S. official returned to South Korea by land.
