Advanced Micro Devices Inc., the second-largest computer chip maker, stuck to its forecasts for the fourth quarter and said it expected to generate positive cash flow next year.

It is too early in the quarter to revise the projections, Chief Financial Officer Robert Rivet said during a meeting with analysts. On Oct. 16, Sunnyvale, Calif.-based AMD projected that sales would be little changed from the $1.59 billion in the third quarter.
