Road chase ends in arrest of boy, 12

The California Highway Patrol says officers in a Bakersfield suburb opened fire on a 12-year-old boy who rammed a patrol car with a stolen SUV during a high-speed chase.
The CHP says no one was hurt in the gunfire or the 20-minute chase that reached speeds of 85 mph early Monday. The boy was arrested on suspicion of auto theft, assault with a deadly weapon on a police officer and other charges.
