He’s still an embarrassment
Re “A new routine for Michael Carona,” Oct. 6
The Times’ article about former Sheriff Michael S. Carona was obviously meant to aid the rehabilitation of his reputation. I don’t care about how much hiking he does with his wife, or about his religious life. The fact is that the man is charged with egregious offenses involving betrayal of the public trust, and he maintained a mistress at the time. He abused his office, and Orange County should be embarrassed.
It’s amazing that he has leisure time to spend “hours walking and talking” with his wife. Most of us are working like heck to put the cornflakes on the table.
I’m surprised he’s not on a cruise, rubbing that in our noses.
