Many changes, few answers
You know it’s been a busy Clippers off-season when they managed to both bring in and announce the retirement of Jason Williams. Personally, I think White Chocolate hanging up the sneaks was a bullet dodged -- he’s not all that good anymore and hardly the ideal locker room presence without minutes. But it underscores how frantically the Clippers have worked to offset defections expected (Corey Maggette) and head-spinning (Elton Brand). The red, white and blue are offering their fans a complete overhaul of a squad that limped (literally and figuratively) to an uninspiring 2008 finish. But will they be any better? That, as they say, would be the $64,000 Question.
