A defense motion filed in a case accusing Broadcom Corp.’s former chief financial officer of conspiracy and securities fraud alleges that a federal prosecutor leaked grand jury information and confidential e-mails about the probe.

The motion, filed in U.S. District Court in Santa Ana, accuses lead prosecutor Andrew Stolper of misconduct and includes letters from lawyers and former Broadcom executives who complain about his actions.

In one letter, attorney Gregory Weingart accused Stolper of leaking confidential e-mails to a publication.
