The scoop: It was a memorable pitchers’ duel under the lights at Norco. Marina finally pushed across a run in the ninth inning on a bases-loaded walk. Kevin Stoops came in and got the final three outs in relief in a semifinal game of the Darryl Kile Memorial tournament. “It was a great game,” Marina Coach Paul Renfrow said. “It’s too bad somebody had to lose.”

Why it matters: Marina advances to tonight’s championship game at 7 at Norco.

Records: Marina 13-2, Norco 9-3.

USC-bound Reggie Wyatt from Riverside La Sierra is the No. 1 300-meter hurdler in the country. Admission is $15 for adults, $10 for students.
