Re “U2 guitarist’s house plan strikes a sour note in Malibu,” April 17
Just as Bob Dylan, the “humanitarian,” apparently refuses to afford his staff a sanitary toilet, U2 guitarist David Evans (“The Edge”) shows utter contempt for ecology and his neighbors in a quest to make money off Malibu homes he intends to build for sale.
Evans’ hypocritical behavior reveals that U2’s “green crusading” is in fact a facade that the media promotes. The Times’ report is a notable exception.
