Update: Kershaw is winless over his last seven starts. He has posted a 2.97 earned-run average but has walked 21 batters in that span, resulting in his averaging less than 5 2/3 innings per outing. Kershaw didn’t factor in the decision Tuesday in Colorado. Arroyo, who recently made headlines by revealing that he used androstenedione and amphetamines before they were banned, has lost three of his last four decisions. He gave up one run in seven innings in Milwaukee in his last start, but a collapse by the bullpen cost the Reds a 6-1 lead and Arroyo the win.
