What Al Michaels and Cris Collinsworth have to say

Share

Al Michaels serves as the play-by-play announcer and Cris Collinsworth provides the color commentary for tonight’s Minnesota at Arizona game (5:15, Channel 4):

Michaels says ...

If Kurt Warner can’t go, I think Matt Leinart is progressing to the point where he’s ready to make a big step up. When you can throw the ball to Larry Fitzgerald, Anquan Boldin and Steve Breaston, you’re always going to have a chance to have a big day. The Arizona run game is still not elite but is improving. With their defense, you’re never quite sure which unit -- the good, the bad or the ugly -- will show up. They’ll have to come up big to keep that Vikings offense in check.

Collinsworth says ...

It’s just unbelievable that Brett Favre is having his best season with essentially no off-season work, no OTAs [organized team activities], minimal training camp, and it’s like he’s reborn. To see this guy with 24 touchdowns and three interceptions? That’s not Brett Favre. You can say Favre has been 10 different things. But a guy with that kind of ball security, a guy making all good decisions, a guy distributing the ball to every single receiver on the field? It’s just amazing.
