Up next for Ducks: Wednesday at Vancouver

Share

Ducks tonight AT VANCOUVER When: 7 PST. Where: GM Place. On the air: TV: Ch. 56; Radio: 830. Records: Ducks 12-13-7, Canucks 19-14-0. Record vs. Canucks: 1-0-0. Update: These teams last met Oct. 30 in a 7-2 rout by the Ducks. But Vancouver’s second line, led by center Ryan Kesler, has begun to produce, as was evident Monday night against the Kings. On Saturday, the Ducks ended a road losing streak at nine games as Corey Perry got his team-leading 16th goal while Dan Sexton, called up Dec. 4, scored his fourth goal in his fifth NHL game. But the Ducks’ injury list has grown, with right wing Mike Brown (upper body) questionable for tonight’s game. The team already is without center Ryan Carter (fractured foot) and wingers Joffrey Lupul (back spasms), who soon will meet with a team doctor to determine whether surgery is needed, and Teemu Selanne (broken hand), who skated in practice Tuesday but will miss at least two more weeks. -- Debbie Goffa
