Regarding Jay Jones’ “Get to Know JFK” [Jan. 18]: Never having been to the East Coast, we visited wonderful Boston in fall 2007. The JFK Library was probably the most meaningful experience for us. It was so real because we had lived it. Make sure you’re there for a showing of the Bobby Kennedy film.

For those of us who will never forget the days of Jack and Bobby Kennedy, it momentarily removed the heavy layers of cynicism that have come with age and reminded us of the hopes of young America in those heady days. For those who are younger, it will project a glimpse of the way we were.
