Here’s how to pay AIG bonuses

Re: “AIG planning more bonuses,” July 10:

AIG employees need their retention bonuses in order to keep them from accepting other terrific offers from other companies. Perhaps they could receive these bonuses as stock options. This could provide quite an incentive to be careful of the company bottom line.
