Geoff Blum hit a tiebreaking home run in the seventh inning and Miguel Tejada homered and had a season-high five runs batted in, helping the Houston Astros overcome an injury to ace Roy Oswalt for an 11-6 victory over the Chicago Cubs on Tuesday night.

Jeff Keppinger had four hits and drove in three runs Houston ended Chicago’s five-game winning streak and ended its own three-game skid. The Cubs fell half a game behind St. Louis in the NL Central.

Oswalt pitched a scoreless first inning then struck out the first two batters he faced in the second before having to exit with what the team said was a strained lower back.
