Texas 4, at New York 2: Scott Feldman pitched into the seventh inning to win his third consecutive start and the Rangers cooled off the Yankees. Ian Kinsler and Elvis Andrus each had two hits for Texas, which leapfrogged New York for the best record in the American League. Feldman (5-0) gave up two runs, one earned, and five hits in 6 1/3 innings.

at Seattle 3, Baltimore 2: Franklin Gutierrez tripled with one out in the bottom of the ninth before Adrian Beltre singled him home. The Mariners’ Ichiro Suzuki extended his hitting streak to 27 games with a third-inning single.

at Tampa Bay 9, Kansas City 0: Jeff Niemann took a perfect game into the fifth inning and wound up with a two-hitter, and Ben Zobrist hit a grand slam for the Rays. Niemann (5-4) retired his first 14 batters before Mark Teahen singled to center in the fifth.

Cleveland 10, at Minnesota 1: The Indians gave Cliff Lee the run support he needed for once, and the reigning AL Cy Young Award winner cruised through eight innings to beat the Twins. Lee (3-6) pitched eight innings for his 10th straight quality start.

Oakland 5, at Chicago 3: Bobby Crosby and Landon Powell hit back-to-back home runs and Jason Giambi also hit a home run for the Athletics.

Angels 8, at Toronto 1: Jered Weaver had a career-high 10 strikeouts for the Angels.
