NBA FINALS: GAME 3

Charles Barkley played for three teams (Philadelphia, Phoenix and Houston) over his 16-year career, was an 11-time All-Star, All-Star most valuable player and league MVP, and averaged 22.1 points and 11.7 rebounds over his 16-year career. He is currently a television analyst for TNT:

It was a very good game. For Orlando, it was clearly a must-win situation, and the Magic played very well. That was just a good-shooting first half.

Kobe Bryant made some tough shots. Orlando made some tough shots. They still didn’t have a big lead.

It was just a well-played game.

Mickael Pietrus made some great plays. Rafer Alston played terrific. Heck of a game.

I think Pietrus is tough, and I like the way he competes. He guarded LeBron James. LeBron got his numbers, but Pietrus wore him down.

Now he’s trying to do the same thing to Kobe Bryant.

But it’s early. They’ve only played three games. Everybody gets tired.

I don’t think Bryant is trying to do too much. Sometimes you’ve got to give the other team credit.

Orlando hasn’t played a great game, but the Magic has played better each game.

Nobody is going to make any adjustments.

It’s not a series yet: 2-1 is not a series. Orlando’s got to win another game.

At 3-0, it would have been over, but to stay in it the Magic has to win the Game 4.

This is not a series unless Orlando keeps it going.
