Seattle 4, at Baltimore 1: Jose Lopez homered twice, Felix Hernandez pitched seven solid innings and the Mariners beat the Orioles.

Minnesota 6, at Oakland 3: Pinch-hitter Jason Kubel hit a tying solo home run in the eighth and Delmon Young singled home the go-ahead run in the ninth for the Twins.

Kansas City 9, at Cleveland 0: Gil Meche tied a career high with 11 strikeouts over seven innings and the Royals got home runs from Alberto Callaspo, Jose Guillen and Miguel Olivo.
