Discontent over Time Warner
Re: David Lazarus’ consumer column “Warner Cable’s bum rap on Web,” June 7:
I live in Hermosa Beach, where Time Warner has the cable monopoly. I’m not fond of Time Warner.
After it bought out the former cable provider Adelphia, Time Warner soon reduced the number of cable channels in its basic package (among them the popular Animal Planet) and increased monthly fees. What’s to like?
