Maybe it’s the weather

Manny Ramirez’s “cancer” is in remission; I’m happy a change in scenery proved medicinal. There must of been something “toxic” in Boston.

New Dodger recipe: 2 seasons of Pedro Martinez, mixed well with rookie staff and serves as bonding agent for Manny Ramirez. Watch it rise to top of National League. Serves 3 million.

For the sake of our young Dodger fans, could you please not highlight quotes of Manny Ramirez? His grammar, “I don’t got no control over what people said,” is not commensurate with his batting skills. Thank you.

Maybe Manny should use the real-estate agents the McCourts used to buy the two homes in Malibu for $43 million -- in this depressed economy.

Manny is quoted today as saying, “Maybe age is catching up to me,” in reference to his recent hamstring injury.

Of course, he comes out publicly and says this one week after signing a $45-million two-year contract with the Dodgers.

The Dodgers are looking at bringing back Pedro Martinez and or Jeff Weaver for a fifth starter? Why don’t we just get Fernando Valenzuela out of the booth and onto the mound? And lets have Tommy Lasorda coaching third base . . . just for the home games.

“I’ve had a lot of rest and we’ll see what’s left in this old arm,” Koufax explained. Koufax, who was once securely retired, has been thinking about returning since suffering severe losses with Bernie Madoff, the deposed investment guru. “Maybe something good can come out of this thing,” he said.

Rumored to be joining him on the hill is 37-year old once-upon-a-midnight-Claire former Dodger, Pedro Martinez. “Hey, my arm is in no worse shape than that old guy’s, so why not?” Martinez offered.
