Aerosmith singer Steven Tyler is back in the saddle, two months after the rock band was forced to cancel its North American tour when he fell off a stage and broke his shoulder.

The group will perform a private concert next week at a San Francisco convention sponsored by Oracle Corp., the software giant run by billionaire Larry Ellison.

“Aerosmith is a go,” Oracle spokeswoman Karen Tillman said this week. The event was scheduled before Tyler’s accident.
