Kansas City 11, at Chicago 0: Luke Hochevar pitched a three-hitter for his first career shutout and Miguel Olivo hit a pair of two-run homers and drove in a career-high six runs.

Angels 2, at Texas 0: Scott Kazmir got his first win in four starts as an Angel.
