FEEDBACK
This is a fantastic development [“LACMA Presents a Fuller Image of Korea,” Sept. 13] as Korean art is often marginalized at major museums.
The Japanese invasion resulted in a lot of looting of artifacts, while the Korean War resulted in massive destruction.
Nevertheless, Korea played an important role in developing ceramic technologies during the 10th to 12th centuries (Koryo dynasty), and in influencing Japan and starting its ceramic industry.
