Events: Children’s Day at Aquarium of the Pacific
Though the timing takes a cue from Mexico’s Día del Niño holiday, this Children’s Day celebration will be an international affair, with kids performing songs and dances from Cambodia, West Africa, Hawaii and elsewhere. Other festivities include arts, crafts and a first-ever children’s parade. Aquarium of the Pacific, 100 Aquarium Way, Long Beach. 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.
