Group lists its five worst cookbooks for 2010 -- unless you like heavy cream, butter and bacon

Caution: Reading these cookbooks may be hazardous to your health. That’s what the Physicians Committee for Responsible Medicine suggests in releasing its list of the five worst cookbooks of 2010.

“They use some of the worst possible ingredients in terms of nutritional profiles,” Susan Levin, nutrition education director for the nonprofit organization, says in a Hartford Courant story. “They’re using lots of heavy cream and butter and going all out in terms of fat and calories.”
