Update: After losing three of their first four Pac-10 games, the Huskies routed Stanford and California. Washington forward Quincy Pondexter had 27 points against Stanford and 25 against California. “He is arguably the best player in this league,” UCLA Coach Ben Howland said of Pondexter, who averages 20 points a game. UCLA guard Jerime Anderson (hip flexor) is questionable at best. Guard Michael Roll (abdominal muscle) and forward Nikola Dragovic (knee) have nagging injuries. -- Chris Foster
