Suns keep sinking with overtime loss to Bobcats
Stephen Jackson scored 30 points and the Charlotte Bobcats scored nine of the first 11 points in overtime on their way to a 114-109 victory over the Phoenix Suns on Tuesday night.
Jackson, who tied the score at 98 on a three-pointer with 19.9 seconds remaining, hit a 20-foot jump shot on the Bobcats’ first possession of overtime to give Charlotte only its second lead of the game.
Raymond Felton had six of his 17 points in overtime as the Bobcats broke out to a six-point lead. Former Suns player Boris Diaw added 24 points and Gerald Wallace had 21 for Charlotte, whose losing streak ended at three games.
Steve Nash had 23 points and nine assists for Phoenix, which has lost seven of nine, dropping its record to 26-21.
