Congressional cable: An article in Saturday’s Section A about MiCongress, a service that enables members of Congress to operate their own cable channels, said Rep. Solomon P. Ortiz (D- Texas) would air a video on his channel that would include a photo of himself as a tot. Ortiz was a young adult in the photo; his brother Oscar was the child.

Dietary guidelines: An article in the June 28 Health section about nutrition experts’ reactions to the proposed new dietary guidelines listed an incorrect affiliation for Alice Lichtenstein, director of the Cardiovascular Nutrition Lab at Tufts University. The lab is affiliated with the university’s USDA Human Nutrition Research Center on Aging, not the School of Medicine. Further, it’s in Boston, not in Medford, Mass.

‘Hella’ challenge: An article in the July 6 LATExtra section about the proposed scientific use of the slang term “hella” gave the wrong prefixes for 10 to the 21st power and 10 to the minus 21st. They are “zetta” and “zepto,” respectively. It also used the term “negative number” to describe a fractional number.

Legal orchestra: An article in Wednesday’s Calendar about a musical group made up of members of the legal profession identified it as the Los Angeles Lawyers Orchestra. It is the Los Angeles Lawyers Philharmonic.

‘Rizzoli & Isles’: A review of the TNT series “Rizzoli & Isles” in Monday’s Calendar described Donnie Wahlberg as Mark Wahlberg’s younger brother. Donnie is older than Mark.
