3-D video games: An article in Business on June 16 reported that Nintendo Co. had struck deals with Warner Bros., Walt Disney Co. and DreamWorks to carry 3-D movies on the upcoming Nintendo 3 DS portable game console. In fact, Nintendo, which showed 3-D movie trailers from those studios on its device at a news conference, is still negotiating with the studios.

Slipknot musician: The headline on a Quick Takes item in Tuesday’s Calendar section about autopsy results showing that Paul Gray of the band Slipknot died of an accidental drug overdose referred to him as the drummer. As the item correctly noted, Gray, who was found dead May 24, was the bassist.

Lakers celebration violence: An article in Friday’s LATExtra section about violence near Staples Center after the Lakers defeated the Boston Celtics on Thursday in the NBA Finals gave the wrong name for a restaurant where fans had gathered, hoping to glimpse the game on a television inside. It was La Bella Cucina, not La Bella Covina.

Sunglass trends: In a Sunday Image section article about trends in sunglass design and in another article about niche designers launching sunglass lines, the name of eyewear manufacturer Luxottica Group was misspelled as Luxxotica Group.
