Arizona State has won seven of nine and is trying to convince the NCAA tournament selection committee that it is worthy. Guard Derek Glasser (Lakewood Artesia High) became the first Sun Devils player with 1,000 career points and 500 assists during a 59-54 victory over USC on Thursday. The Sun Devils made 11 of 21 three-pointers in that game. Rihards Kuksiks was six for nine. UCLA guard Malcolm Lee continues to have issues with cramps. He missed more than five minutes in Thursday’s 78-73 loss to Arizona. When he left the game, the Bruins were leading by 12 points. The lead was 57-54 when he returned. Lee said he started a new vitamin regime to try to avoid the problem.
