Update: The Ducks are coming off a morale-boosting 2-0 victory over the Kings on Monday at the Honda Center that marked goaltender Jonas Hiller’s first shutout of the season. Rookie defenseman Cam Fowler scored the game-winning goal and has nine points in his last 10 games. Defenseman Lubomir Visnovsky didn’t practice Tuesday because of a sore back but has been playing with the condition. The Panthers, last in the Eastern Conference’s Southeast division, broke a three-game losing streak with a shootout victory over Tampa Bay on Saturday.
