Sure, it’s not exactly cinematic art, but the film versions of the hit HBO series are worthy of a viewing — despite what Rotten Tomatoes may suggest. Watch as Carrie and the gang roam Abu Dhabi (the sand jungle where dreams are made of) in the sequel to 2008’s big-screen debut. It’s the only place you’ll find Liza Minnelli singing and sashaying to Beyoncé’s “Single Ladies (Put a Ring on It).” You’re welcome. (Tuesday)

The media are already consumed by it; talk about “Glee’s” take on “The Rocky Horror Picture Show.”

It’s garter time! The much-hyped episode of “Glee” (Wait. Isn’t that every episode?) airs this week. The spirited singers over at McKinley High will tackle songs from the ‘70s cult classic. Let’s just hope Mr. Shue doesn’t find an excuse to rap ... we’re still recovering from his rendition of the “Thong Song.” (Tuesday)

The long-awaited third album (OK, that might be a stretch. But we’re sure Kanye West is super excited about it) from Taylor Swift hits stores. The blond pop star croons about past boyfriends — as far as we know, there is no song titled “Shirtless”; Taylor Lautner, your pecs are safe for now) — and bullies. (Tuesday).

If you like carnage, talk about “Saw 3D.”
