Highlights: Large tents become temporary galleries for original artworks in oil, watercolor, glass, ceramic, metal and many other media. The event, in its 21st year, is one of the West’s largest art fairs.

Highlights: The 26th annual event screens more than 200 films, hosts social events and expert panels, and honors actors such as Annette Bening, James Franco and Nicole Kidman.
