Event: Orange picking

Orange picking at citrus groves was once as important to Southern Californians as bargain hunting at the Grove is to them today. Reconnect with the Golden State’s past through the tactile joys of picking oranges in La Verne’s Heritage Park. Orange picking: In Weekend Picks in the Jan. 6 Calendar, an item on orange picking in La Verne’s Heritage Park said visitors were responsible only for the drive to the location. In fact, the oranges are $5 per bag.
