Andrew Luck threw for 325 yards and had both of his touchdown passes in the second half, helping Stanford pull away for a 37-10 victory over host Arizona in a game that ended late Saturday night.

Stanford, 3-0 overall and 1-0 in the Pacific 12 Conference, struggled to find the end zone in the first half, then wore Arizona down in the second.

Luck picked the Wildcats apart on 20-for-31 passing, throwing touchdown passes to Zach Ertz in the third quarter and Levine Toilolo in the fourth. Stepfan Taylor added a career-high 153 yards rushing and Stanford had 567 yards in winning its 11th consecutive game, the Cardinal’s longest run since taking 13 in a row from 1939 to 1941.

“Certainly, they know what they’re doing,” Arizona Coach Mike Stoops said. “They manipulated us pretty good.”

Nick Foles threw for 239 yards and a touchdown, but he couldn’t overcome Arizona’s anemic running game by himself.

The Wildcats (1-2, 0-1) had 51 yards rushing in 23 carries in their sixth loss in a row to an FBS team.

“We challenged our guys to take the fight to them, challenged our guys to be physical and see if we can wear them out,” Stanford Coach David Shaw said. “That’s our philosophy we believe in: Our second half has got to be better than our first half, [and] that’s what we did tonight.”

Luck has 53 touchdown passes, one ahead of Jim Plunkett for third all-time in Stanford history.

Stanford’s next game is against UCLA at home on Oct. 1.

The loss snapped the Cougars’ four-game home winning streak and was their first to an in-state opponent since 2005.

Utah (2-1) trailed 10-7 late in the second quarter until Wynn beat a blitz and found tight end Jake Murphy open for a 30-yard touchdown pass.

Wynn tossed a 59-yard scoring pass to Dres Anderson on the opening possession of the second half, and the Utes never looked back. The Cougars fell to 1-2.
