Anthony Henry, the former NFL defensive back turned film producer, has purchased a contemporary residence in Hollywood for $2.599 million.

The newly built home, designed for formal entertaining and casual indoor-outdoor living, features retractable walls of glass, a floating glass staircase and a top-floor master suite with a soaking tub and private balcony.

Clad in dark hardwood, the floor plan includes a designer kitchen, a formal living room with a modern wall fireplace, a den/office, five bedrooms and 5.5 baths in 4,329 square feet of living space. A wine room cased in glass sits off the dining room.

Outdoors, a wood-plank deck sits level with a pool and spa.

Henry, 37, spent nine seasons in the NFL with the Cleveland Browns, Dallas Cowboys and Detroit Lions. He was an executive producer for the crime noir “Once Upon a Time in Brooklyn” (2013), which featured Ice-T, Ja Rule and Armand Assante.

The property originally came to market in July with an asking price of $2.699 million, public records show. Jennifer Okhovat and Angela Acuff of John Aaroe Group were the listing agents. Jordan Cohen of Re/Max Olson & Associates represented Henry in the sale, which closed early this month.
